Hello, I am Amber Holt "Mini". I am known as an "enthusiastic backcountry rider" that is continually pushing my comfort zone. The "take it to the next level" attitude happens to be my entire approach on life!

Six years ago while residing in Willow, Alaska, my husband, Budd, gave me my first snowmobile, a Polaris Pro X 121 with a 600 motor. His simple intention to introduce me to the sport started out as a way we could spend more quality time together. Today this shared passion between us is not only the result of his patient mentoring, but also opened up a drive deep inside me that is undefinable. This drive continues to aspire me to try more challenging riding and technical terrain, and has taught me as long as you have fear, you have no limits.

I love everything about snowmobiling and sharing it's rewarding joys with others. Whether I am out with my husband and closest friends on a 60 mile backcountry riding adventure that is filled with technical tree lines and steep chutes or instructing those 'first timers' at Back Country Basics, I am grateful for every experience.
My passion for snowmobiling has evolved in many directions. For the past three seasons I have enjoyed riding for several backcountry filmmakers, interacted in forums, and participating at numerous snowmobiling events. I have been the author of a variety of publicized educational areas of media, and jump at the opportunity to educate, promote, and help others throughout the snowmobiling community. These experiences and interaction with others has resulted in infinite educational growth with in myself.

This season, my sled fleet will consist of 3 Arctic Cat M1000's. My sled of choice is a fully modified 2009 Arctic Cat M1000 equipped with Shain Stanger's Twisted Turbo's Pump/Race Extreme Kit.

If I am not enjoying quality time at home with Budd and our five dogs, I can be found enjoying North Idaho's backcountry on my Yamaha WR250 during the Summer months and on my Arctic Cat M1000 in the winter! The result is an average of 4500+ miles filled with WHOOOOHOOOO's a year!
