Hello, I am Amber Holt, AKA "Mini". I am a Backcountry Snowmobile Rider from Kootenai, ID.
I ride to face my
fears, so my goals are limitless. I am an enthusiastic rider, and that is pretty much how I approach life! I started riding 5 years
ago with my husband, on a Polaris Pro X 121 with a 600 motor, in Alaska. Snowmobiling started as a way we could spend more quality
time together. Something opened up for me beyond the bond I share with my Husband, Budd. I discovered a drive deep inside me
for bigger, more extreme challenges, and terrain. This drive was not to prove women could do it, or beat the boys, but too explore
my own limits. This has taught me as long as you have fear, you have no limits. Today, I love challenging chutes, ascending steep
highly technical tree climbs, and I have led x-country tours that are 60 miles or longer across the Northern Rockies. I can
confidently say I am respected in several sled forums for my technical knowledge and riding capabilities. I jump at the opportunity
to educate, promote, and help others in the industry. By persevering on this exciting path, it provides endless educational growth
with in myself. I know what it is to be a novice, and if it wasn’t for those who were patient and supportive of me, I would not be
in the position I am today, a seasoned and highly skilled rider in 5 short years. My current sleds are, an Arctic Cat M1000 and
an Arctic Cat M8 Sno Pro. I ride an average of 3000+ miles a season. Outside of my family, on a sled is were I belong.
I would love
the opportunity to enhance your snowmobiling experience as others have so graciously extended to me. Feel free
to contact me.
